UFC Is Coming To TikTok

ByteDance's TikTok has entered a multi-year partnership with the mixed martial arts organization-Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC)- to stream its content.


According to TikTok, the broadcast will include weekly UFC live streams that feature behind-the-scenes footage and interactions with athletes.


UFC is the third most popular sport on TikTok, garnering 6.3 million followers.


UFC and TikTok will officially kick off the partnership this week with content created around UFC FIGHT NIGHT: BLAYDES vs. LEWIS on Saturday, February 20, live from UFC APEX Las Vegas.


The move marks another step by TikTok in generating content around the sports industry after it partnered in October with London-based esports organization Tundra.




TikTok is still locked in legal battles with the US administration, with former President Donald Trump calling for the short-video app to sell its US operations, citing security concerns. The Biden administration is currently reviewing this.
