In this post, I will share with you the 6 steps that I use to make hundreds of B2B sales every month

In summary however this is my guide on what exactly you can do to generate hundreds of sales:


Step 1: Identify your Ideal customer profile

The first step is to define who your ideal customer is. This is not just a demographic or geographic description, but a detailed profile of the pain points, goals, challenges, and motivations of your target market. You need to know what they care about, what they struggle with, and what they aspire to achieve.


Step 2: Do the Maths

Provide clarity for the team. Get to understand how many leads are needed, how many each sales rep needs to be managing, the anticipated rate of closure and even the churn rate


Step 3: Execution:

This is the set of activities you need to do when it comes to attracting leads and closing sales. This is usually broken down into 2:


Inbound: Which activities are you going to do to bring leads to you? This could include things like Webinars, Running ads, Content, SEO. Get to clearly identify what exactly makes sense to your business and what you would need to get it done. Organize all the logistics including the funds, the team that is going to work on this and the software you are going to use to make this happen.

Outbound: What set of activities are your sales reps going to do to go out and close business. How many calls does each rep need to make


4) Follow up:

Follow up is king in sales. Most sales are lost at this phase. Truth be told, on average most B2B sales are only made after at least 8 follow ups. It is important you set up a structure of how to follow up, what to say when following and a software system to help keep you reminded on when next to follow up.


5) Analytics

Analyze what is going on within sales. Understand what is going on from the time any lead interacts with your brand for the first time up to when they make their latest purchase. Improving sales is a by product of scrutinizing this data.


6) Refine the process

Test, do and iterate. This is the true recipe for growing. Keep doing what works and remove what is not.
